Dance mania
The evening had it all— glitz, glamour and a power house of talent. The occasion was the finals of a dance reality show, for which celebrities descended on stage adding to the glam quotient. The enthusiastic participants set the stage on fire with their spellbinding performances and a special dance performance by two artistes from Kerala stole the hearts of many. The chief guest for the evening, actor Simbu, was seen thoroughly enjoying the occasion. The actor looked like a million bucks and had a surprise in store when the reality show team presented him with a birthday cake. The actor cut hisbirthday cake even as the zealous audience went into a celebration mode. Also present on the occasion were actresses Rambha, Devayani and Sripriya, who cheered on the participants. Finally, it was Gokulnath and Neepa who emerged as the lucky winners and took home the grand prize. It was an evening to remember indeed.

According to Simbu, the role required him to change his appearance drastically, which meant he could not concentrate on other films.Simbu will do a film with Director Boopathy Pandian and he will continue his Directorial venture with Vaaliban.Vaaliban is being produced by Nic Arts.

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa will be distributed by Red Giant Movies, owned by Udhayanidhi Stalin.The Silambarasan – Trisha starrer Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is slated for a February 19 release. Scored by Rahman, the movie’s tracks are already a hit on the airwaves of Chennai.

Simbu along with his VTV crew went to see Goa. Goa is Soundarya Rajinikanth's maiden production venture on behalf of Ocher Picture Productions. The movie revolves around three youths who sets out on a trip to Goa only with a mission to fall in love with a white woman, get married and go abroad. The twists and turns they come across in their mission makes up the story.There are some surprises in the form of Silambarasan, Nayantara and Prasanna.

 The song Aaromale in Vinnaithandi Varuvaayaa has gained immense popularity already and has been topping the charts. Due to this, the film's director Gautham Menon has decided to shoot the song with the lead pair Silambarasan and Trisha.And now the crew is in Kerala for the shoot. With the director deciding on filming the song, Trisha has given a call sheet to facilitate an early release of the film. VTV is slated for a February release and with this song the shooting schedule is expected to come to an end. |
